East Fife Football Club (also known as “The Fife”) is a Scottish football club based in the town of Methil, Fife. We are members of the Irn Bru Scottish Football League and are now in the Second Division.
The Club, formed in 1903, boasts a distinguished and unique history, being the only club to win the Scottish Cup while playing in the Second Division which was the second tier of the Scottish League structure at that time in 1938.
It is also the first Club to win the Scottish League Cup 3 times and on the first occasion was in the Scottish Second Division, in 1947 – 48. Also that year, the Second Division title was won by East Fife and on the sixtieth anniversary, East Fife has won the Championship of the Third Division in 2007 – 08.
